As with any program, participants are going to see a variety of results, and some may be more dramatic than others.  Everyone presents with a very unique neurological starting point.  Noticeable changes may be observed as soon as the first 30 days by some and others will see more gradual changes unfold over a few months.  Continued improvements can be observed and realized up to 2-3 years from the initial therapy.  Nationally and locally, 92% of the program participants report improvements.

Over 15 years, we have seen:  Improved auditory processing, better balance, coordination, and fine motor skills; greatly improved eye contact and situational awareness; more confidence and focus; visual processing improvements; more stable emotional responses; reduced anxiety, better sleep patterns, resolved bedwetting and potty training issues, resolved eating disorders, improved speech and language skills, and the list goes on.  It truly changes lives every day!

Why such a high success rate?

We do our absolute best to screen our patients thoroughly with a complimentary online assessment, in office evaluation and sample session to ensure that we are matching up the proper therapy to the right individuals.  We do not charge for these pre-therapy services if the person does not choose to move forward or it is not recommended.  Otherwise, it is part of the total therapy.  Our success rate is high because we do everything possible to determine if we are addressing a true sensory dysfunction and will not recommend the therapy if there will not be a benefit.

Which ages can benefit from this therapy?

We can work with children as young as 2 ½ where the neurological system must be developed to a certain point to maximize the benefits.  There is no upper limit on age for adults.  We have helped patients as old as 70.  The Refined Sensory Program has shown the same great results for both children and adults as a standalone therapy.  However, when it is intentionally done prior to, or along side of other traditional therapies (OT, speech, etc) depending on patient needs, it has consistently shown faster progress and even more dramatic results than would have otherwise been seen with traditional therapy alone.
